About Us: About the Practice Dr. Peatman is a member of the Webster Orthopaedic Medical Group, the oldest orthopedic specialty group in the East Bay. The expertise within the group covers all aspects of musculoskeletal care. Dr. Peatman specializes in Sports Medicine, Arthroscopy, and joint replacement. He also serves as a team surgeon for the Oakland Athletics. The practice is based on the philosophy that each patient is unique, with needs and desires that may be different from those of other patients. Understanding these differences takes time, but helps tailor a solution to you as the patient. After discovering your needs, the most current treatment methods are employed. This means medication, injections, physical therapy, and advanced surgical techniques such as muscle-sparing (anterior approach) hip replacement, minimally invasive knee and partial knee replacement, and arthroscopic of the hip, shoulder, and knee.
